Members of the Fire Depot team gathered for the company’s regular quarterly meeting on 5th July at the nearby Barnsdale Hall Hotel located on the edge of Rutland Water. After the business meeting part of the day was finished, four teams took on the challenge of a treasure hunt in the hotel grounds, followed by some field sports and finally Prosecco all round to celebrate everyone’s achievements.
And Supply Chain Assistant Vicky Alexander, who joined the company earlier this year was named Values Champion for Quarter 2 of 2019. Colleagues across the business voted for her in recognition of her hard work and the contribution she has made since she started with the company.
Commenting on the day, Managing Director Laurie Pollard said; ‘We wanted to focus on the importance of team work and communication in the business as well as saying thank you to the team for their hard work during the first half of the year. Enjoying the beautiful surroundings just down the road from our offices seemed a good way to do that!’.
