Homesaver, the UK fire safety equipment specialist within the family-owned Sentura Group, has rebranded to become Fire Depot. The rebrand for the fully independent wholesaler is part of a major strategic expansion.

Established since 1963, the family-owned business began trading manufacturing fire blankets. Over 50 years on, with a head office in Rutland and global distribution centre in Grimsby, the company now wholesales UK-approved fire safety equipment globally.

Explains Managing Partner Laurie Pollard, “For some time, our business focus has been providing comprehensive equipment solutions for industrial and commercial premises. We’ve simply outgrown our original brand. Fire Depot will allow us to take our 2,500+ SKU portfolio forward, including the export of our own-brand Firechief products to more than 18 countries.”

Pollard is keen to emphasise that customers will experience no change in staff or the high standards of service. “We’re now fulfilling some 3000-4000 orders a month. Around half of these follow advice or guidance provided by one of our qualified fire safety team. UK trade customers nationwide know that they can source whatever fire safety products they need for a project in one call or web site visit, competitively. The vast majority also take advantage of our ability to deliver to their door by next business day or at an agreed time slot.”

The new Fire Depot brand will also support the company’s growing number of partnerships with overseas manufacturers and distributors. Thrive!, the company’s popular trade loyalty programme, continues as normal.
